This has absolutely nothing to do with the Nosmokeathon, but interesting nonetheless and I think it’s really cool.A friend of mine, Jon Shiffman (pictured far right), is a very talented musician and the drummer for Steel Train, an up-and-coming “indie rock” band. The band is currently on tour this summer, hitting up major music festivals along their way. They recently performed at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Last summer while I was traveling across the country, I was able to meet up with Jon and his band twice, in Lawrence, Kansas and again in Anaheim, California. I have also seen them play locally, and they put on a great show.
The reason I bring up Steel Train, is because they recently found out that they will be the musical guests on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on Monday, July 7th! I think this is very exciting and I’m looking forward to seeing my buddy rock out on TV. Everyone should tune in for the show.
